Abdominoplasty is also called as tummy tuck. It is a cosmetic surgery procedure used to reshape and make the abdomen firm . It involves the removal of excess skin and fat from both middle and lower abdomen for the purpose of tightening the muscle of the abdominal wall.
This kind of surgery is generally preferred by women and other individuals who have abdominal fat deposits . Usually these fat deposits do not respond to the diet and exercises . It is also performed after a massive weight loss for removing the skin hanging in the body.
There are two kinds of abdominoplasty .It includes complete and partial . It will take about two to five hours to complete the former variety of abdominoplasty and for the later it requires only about one to two hours. This surgery also vary in scope and divided into complete abdominoplasty , partial abdomino plasty ,and extended abdominoplasty.
