It is a popular dental surgery with international recognition. This dental specialty involves a basic medical and dental training. Generally the oral and maxillofacial surgeons treat problems such as the extraction of wisdom teeth, misaligned jaws, tumors and cysts of the jaw and mouth and they also perform dental implant surgeries. They also administer anesthesia and provide extensive care. This specialty is very wide in its scope.
