Forehead Lift

The forehead lift is generally done to correct or improve the appearance of skin wrinkling. It is also done to correct the loss of tone or sagging of eye brows which occurs as the result of aging process. It also helps to correct the lines in the forehead and frown lines between the eyebrows. Incisions are generally placed behind the hairline, above the ear and in the top of the head.

At times, they are also placed in front of the hairline. It is also sometimes performed with the use of endoscope which requires only short incisions. Improvements can be made under the skin, on the deep muscle. Skin and muscle are also tightened to produce a fresh and youthful appearance.

The forehead lift is usually performed to treat conditions caused by aging. It can be done along with other rejuvenating surgeries to get a better face appearance. It is also appropriate for treatment of certain inherited traits. It is also popular among younger adults those who have a low brow.
