Facial laser resurfacing

Facial laser resurfacing is very popular in dermatology especially for the treatments of acne vulgaris, scars or spider veins. It is often combined with liposuction when excess fat is to be removed from the skin and jaw areas. This is used to tighten the wrinkled skin after the fat is removed through liposuction.

The latest scientific breakthrough in skin rejuvenation is using laser resurfing to improve cosmetic flaws like wrinkles, acne scars and aging and skin damaged due to sun exposure. The wrinkles and undesired skin cells are replaced by fresh skin cells.

The most important advantage of facial laser resurfing is the treatment is bloodless. There is also control in the depth of penetration of the skin surface. This allows an increased degree of precision and safety especially for treating areas like face. Facial laser resurfing can help to erase fine lines and wrinkles completely; it also improves the crow's feet around the eye and smoothes and tightens eyelid skin.
