Surgical Measures For Facial Scars

There are certain ways to remove scar using the surgical method
Laser Treatment
Some scars are too obvious and bad in shape, it becomes a hazard for the person, and at that time surgery is the only solution for the
person. Laser cosmetic surgery for facial scars can be of three types as mentioned below.
Microdermabrasion
It is a treatment for overall facial scar skin improvement and helps in removing facial scars that are not too deep. It is a repeated process and the effect lasts for around six months. It works wonder for sun damaged skin, pigmentation, wrinkles and acne scars. The active ingredients are:

The main positive aspect of the treatment is that it is simple, fast and with no discomfort.

The only problem with the treatment has that it not too effective on severe facial scars and pigmentation. It is an ongoing process and has temporary effect.
Photorejuvenation
Photorejuvenation involves use of laser rays. It stimulates skin and improves collagen formation in the skin. The treatment is continued for 3-4 weeks and 5-6 treatments are given.
Scar Correction
Surgical elimination or excision of acne and facial scars is particularly effective for prominent scars that are extensive. The surgery heals in around a week’s time and stitches are removed after that. At times surgery is done and there is no need for sutures.
Laser Treatments
This process uses a blend of laser carbon dioxide (CO2), and/or Erbium: YAG laser. Skin is detached or removed in layers by layer that eradicates the utmost portion of the scars. Simultaneously heat generated by the laser cosmetic surgery tightens the skin, which will facilitate and smooth the scars. The final facial feature comes back to normal after a period of 12-18 months. It is a combined with other treatments to remove facial scars.

There are various treatments for removing facial scars, it depends mostly on the kind of scar the person has and how far he/she can take the treatment.
